Partner Hiiumaa Municipality lies on the island Hiiumaa, Estonia. It covers all of the island and operates altogether 4 small ports, including 3 guest harbors.

KÄRDLA
Kärdla Marina is within top 10 harbors in Estonia by berths for guestboats and also by visiting numbers.
This season accumulated near to 2000 visiting nights, and over 90% of visitors were from abroad as usual – mainly from Finland. This is what makes Kärdla Marina investments in Smart Marinas project truly having a cross-border impact.
In spring 2018 we launched our last significant investment with the help of Smart Marinas project – construction of eastern floating jettie with 20 finger pontoon berths and 3 alongside berths. Already during this season the additional capacity was 100% in use for over a week during july, although fresh water and electricity was not yet installed.

Orjaku Marina

Orjaku Marina was established in early 1900’s. Coastal habitants founded Orjaku for servicing coastal fishing boats and also for smaller cargo boats. The coastal fishing tradition is alive even today and in Orjaku there are more than 20 fisherman, who earn their everyday living by fishing with nets and traps. Local village-life is very active and during the summer almost every weekend a concert or other happening is held in Orjaku Marina – not crowded, not loud, but always busy and active – Orjaku has earned its unique imago as a “must see” harbor.
Harbor has over 20 visiting berths, the max. dept is 2,7 mooring is offered alongside or on a buoy. At the harbor you find a pub, village house, concert house and a brand new service house with all amenities. The nearest shop is 4 km and nearest town is 7 km from the harbour. On Kassari island there are many summer cafe’s all around to discover – each one of them with their unique and fresh local flavors.
