
ABOUT SMART MARINA
The project Smart Marina's main focus were on the following:

Improve the varying standards in the Baltic Regions guest marinas and improve the cost effectiveness;

Renew and modernize the marinas through climate-friendly solutions and innovations;

Improve the joint marketing of the marinas to create better visibility.

Smart Marina will modernize and expand services in projects marinas without affecting the unique archipelago environment;

Create a network to promote the ports and create improved international visibility;

Combine various smart solutions, thereby improving and making available new high-quality service combinations in a small-scale port segment.
Smart Marina was an Interreg Central Baltic Project, aiming to develop climate-smart solutions in 32 guest harbors around the Baltic Sea Area. The countries participating are Sweden, Finland, Åland Islands and Estonia. Here you will find Smart Marina flyer the project was finnied by the 30.4.2021
Each project partner is responsible for the guidelines within the individual regions. In total Smart Marina contains one Lead Partner (Ålands Utvecklings Ab) and five partners; Ålands Utvecklings Ab (Åland), Valdemarsviks municipality (Sweden), Östhammar municipality (Sweden), Skärgårdsstiftelsen in Stockholm (Sweden), Novia (Finland) and Hiiu (Estonia).
